I was diagnosed with stage 2b invasive ductal carcinoma when I was 35. I was young, had spent the previous year getting into shape, and had a wonderful support system. My cancer was curable and my doctors were incredibly optimistic that I would survive. Unfortunately, that’s not everyone’s reality when they are diagnosed with cancer, so I feel very blessed that my story had a good outcome.
The purpose of this blog is to help cancer patients not feel alone, no matter their circumstance. I hope that through my story I am able to bring sympathy to those who are just starting on their journey, and bring solace to those currently traveling.
